Sea otters' feet are webbed so they are like flipppers. This makes them good swimmers. |
Sea otters like to eat fish and crabs. These clever animals can crack a crab's shell by smashing the crab against a rock. |
A baby sea otter is called a pup. Pups can float on the water. After about 12 weeks they start to learn how to swim. |

Baby sea otter
In 2014, a sea otter pup was found on a beach in America. It looked just one week old and it was crying for its mum. Sadly the mum was nowhere to be found. As the pup was so young and needed care it was taken to an aquarium. At the aquarium, vets gave the pup care it needed. |
First it was called pup 681 but the public voted on a new name. The pup is now called Luna.
