Sea Otters
Sea otters live in the sea. They are mammals.
Sea otters like to float in the sea. They float on their back while they eat or sleep.

Sea otters' feet are webbed so they are like flipppers. This makes them good swimmers.
The sea otter needs its thick fur in the cold sea. The thick fur keeps its body warm and dry.
Sea otters like to eat fish and crabs. These clever animals can crack a crab's hard shell. They smash the crab's shell against a rock.
A baby sea otter is called a pup. Pups can float in the sea. After about 12 weeks they start to learn how to swim.
