Cheetahs are faster than leopards. Leopards can run 35 miles per hour (mph). But cheetahs can run 70 mph! So cheetahs are twice as fast as leopards. In fact, the cheetah is the fastest land animal in the world.
Cheetahs like to chase and catch their prey in the day. Leopards like to hunt for food at night.

Leopards are stronger than cheetahs. Leopards are so strong that they can climb up and jump out of trees.
Leopards can hunt prey in trees, such as owls and monkeys.

When they kill their prey on the ground they often bring their food up into a tree. It's hard for other predators (such as lions) to get the food in the tree. So, leopards can leave part of the food in the tree and go back later to eat the rest.
Leopards are good climbers.
Leopards are louder than cheetahs because cheetahs cannot roar!

Leopards live in a bigger area than cheetahs. Cheetahs live in Africa. Leopards live in Africa and parts of Asia such as India and China.
